Vacancy Announcement

Applications are invited for the following vacant positions at the office of Mr. District and Sessions Judge, Bij Kiah, for appointment as follows:

1. Assistant Librarian

   • Vacancy: 01
   • Educational Qualification:
     • Graduate in Library Science (Min 2nd Division) from a recognized institution.
     • Well-versed in computer applications(no 3rd division in the whole career).
   • Age Limit: 18-30 years (relaxation of 5 years for male candidates)
   • Preference will be given to Master's Degree holders in Library Science (MLIS), Min. 2nd Division, with preferably 1 year experience in the relevant field.
   • Bachelor of Commerce (2nd Division) possessing basic computer courses like Microsoft Office.
   • Candidates with working experience in the relevant field will be preferred.

2. Naib Qasid

   • Vacancy: 01
   • Educational Qualification: Literate, healthy, preferably a retired Army Serviceman
   • Age Limit: 25-45 years

Important Instructions:

• All applications must be submitted by hand or can be written on the specified vacancies of Punjab.

• Application forms are available on the website of the Office Banda at www.layyah.dc.Ihc.gov.pk.
• Eligible candidates will be informed about the online interview through the website. No separate call letters issued.
• Selection is made on a merit basis.
• No general relaxation in the upper age limit will be allowed. However, male candidates can avail of a relaxation of five years, and female candidates can avail of a relaxation of eight years under extraordinary circumstances.
• Applicants must declare if any of their relatives are employed in the Civil and Sessions Court. An affidavit is required if any relative is employed.
• Candidates from Government and Semi-Government Institutions/Departments should submit NOC.
• Applicants must submit recent photocopies of education certificates, ID cards, and attested copies of ID cards along with the application.

Note: Recruitment will be conducted following the Government of Khaab Recruitment 2015, Civil and Sessions Court Rules 2005, and High Court Lahore High Court policy.
