PAKISTAN RAILWAYS MEDICAL DEPARTMENT Professional medical service providers can get licensing opportunities through an agreement for a pathology lab, diagnostic radiology, dialysis unit, or lithotripsy unit.

Applications are invited for licensing on a competitive charges/fee-sharing basis with high-quality services of renowned pathology labs with extensive branches, Diagnostic Radiology (C.T Scan, X-ray plant), Lithotripsy Units, Dialysis units, and Orthodontist units in the following P.R Hospitals as per specified terms and conditions:

Railway Hospitals: i. Railway Hospitals MGPR LHR ii. Railway Hassan Hospital Karachi iii. Railway Hospital Peshawar iv. Railway Hospital Multan v. Railway Hospital Faisalabad vi. Railway Hospital Sukkur vii. Railway Hospital Quetta.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Pathology Laboratory:

   • Registration from Punjab Health Commission.
   • Participation in external quality assurance program.
   Lab Shall have 10 years of running pathology Lab.
   • Carry out a full range of lab tests including special chemistry, immunology, and PCR testing.
   • Must have a regular qualified pathologist for the Lab tests done under his supervision.

2. X-Ray Plant/C.T Scan:

   • Registration from Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA).
   • Follow all protocols to Control radiations as directed by PNRA.
   • Must have a Radiologist to supervise services and reporting.

3. Renal (kidney) Haemodialysis Units:

   • Should have more than 10 years of experience running such services.
   • Registration from the Punjab Health Commission or other relevant authority.
   • Must have a team of technical paramedical staff who will work under the supervision of an experienced nephrologist.
   • Must be able to handle serious emergency conditions of patients during dialysis.

4. Lithotripsy Units:

   • Registration from the provincial Health Commission or any other relevant authority.
   • Must have a team of technical paramedical staff who will work under the supervision of an experienced Urologist.
   • Must be able to handle serious emergency conditions of patients during dialysis.

5. Orthodontist:

   • Registration from the Provincial Health Commission or any other relevant authority.
   • Must have a qualified specialist Dental Surgeon to supervise all code requirements.
   • Must have experienced qualified paramedical staff.
   • Must be able to deal with any kind of medical/dental emergency condition during dental procedures.
